## What it is
- A family coordination service, organised as a shared Care Circle.
- One shared board: tasks, events and the people involved. Nothing is assigned to anyone automatically; a person claims it.
- $100/month per Care Circle. No free tier, no trial, no annual plan.
- Self-serve: a family can start and pay online at https://familyobservatory.com/join/. A setup conversation happens after purchase, as onboarding, not as a gate in front of buying.
- Cancel in any month.

## What it is not (important)
- Not a medical device, medical service, or source of medical advice. A medication reminder is coordination; a medication recommendation is not, and is out of scope.
- Not a monitoring, emergency, or medical-alert service. It does not use cameras, does not track location, cannot detect falls or medical events, and does not contact emergency services. In an emergency, call 911 or the local emergency number.
- Not a replacement for professional caregivers, medical care, or regular family contact.
- Not a shared calendar. It never exposes the contents of anyone's calendar to the rest of the family.

## Who it is for
- Adult children and siblings coordinating care for an aging parent, often from different cities.
- Families supporting a person with autism or a developmental disability, where the coordination lasts decades.
