When everyone cares, but no one has the full picture
Caring should not depend on a group text.
Family Observatory keeps appointments, transport, routines and responsibilities moving with the people who need them, so nothing important is left to whoever remembers.
We do not share your calendar. We coordinate your availability.
Thursday · 2:00 PM appointment
Independence, kept
Still their home. Still their pace. Still their call.
Growing older shouldn't mean giving up the life they built. Family Observatory helps your parent keep living on their own terms, while the people who love them stay gently in the loop.
Made for your parentOne appointment. One owner. One shared record.
The whole product in two moments: a responsibility with nobody on it, and a responsibility somebody accepted.
Hi Susan.
Dad has a 2:00 appointment Thursday. Nobody is driving yet. You look free.

The problem we're fixing
Families rarely fail because they do not care
They fail because responsibility is scattered across calendars, group texts, phone calls and assumptions, and no one has the whole picture.
Nobody owns it
An appointment gets booked and no one is assigned to drive. Everyone assumes a sibling has it. Nobody finds out until the morning of.
One person carries it all
Usually the nearest, or the eldest daughter. Not because it was agreed, but because she is the one holding the map in her head.
A group text is not a system
It records messages. It does not notice that nobody replied, does not know who is free, and never follows anything through to done.
Nobody wants to expose their calendar
Working out who is free usually means showing everyone your week. Availability is the only part anyone actually needs.
How Family Observatory works
Set it up once. It runs on its own after that.
Add what is happening
Choose up to four moments across the day that fit your parent's routine. Morning, midday, afternoon, evening: your call.
It finds what has no owner
A 2:00 appointment with nobody driving is a gap. So is a routine due with no confirmation. It looks for what is missing, not for what is there.
It asks one person, not everyone
Every response lands in one shared dashboard. A quick glance tells the whole family how today is going.
It follows through to done
A gentle reminder goes out first. If it's still missed, the family contacts you chose are notified so a person can follow up.
Family Observatory is a coordination service. It does not contact emergency services and is not a substitute for a medical alert device or a call to 911.
Good evening, Ruth.
How are you doing tonight?
For your parent
Nothing for your parent to manage
No accounts to learn and nothing to remember to do. Arrangements get made around them, and they are told what has been sorted, not quizzed about it.
- Extra-large buttons, high contrast, and plain words.
- No swiping, no timers, no pressure. Tap when ready.
- Works with a screen reader and larger text settings.
- Tapped the wrong one? A calm correction path fixes it.

For the family
Told what needs you, and nothing else
Not another dashboard to check. Most days it says everything important is covered. When it does not, it names exactly what needs an owner.
- Clear states: All Good, Check-in Due, No Response Yet, Help Requested.
- Everyone who should know, knows: siblings share one view.
- See today, and the pattern of the week, without prying.
Why families choose Family Observatory
Not another monitoring gadget. A calmer, more respectful way to stay close.
Simpler than monitoring
No sensors, hubs, or wearables to charge. One tap replaces a whole kit.
More respectful than cameras
Nothing watches your parent. We coordinate the people helping, not the person being helped.
Clearer than group chats
One shared status instead of a scattered thread nobody fully reads.
Built for both sides
Designed for the parent to use and the family to trust, not for a call center.
Privacy and dignity, by design
Reassurance should never cost your parent their privacy. Here's exactly where the line sits.
Read our full safety & privacy overview, including what we collect, who can see it, and what the service does not do.
One membership. Everyone who helps, included.
No tiers to decode, nothing to add on, and no charge per family member. Coordination only works when everyone involved is actually in it.
Questions families ask first
Is Family Observatory a monitoring or medical service?
No. It is a coordination service. It is not medical monitoring, not emergency dispatch, and it doesn't replace professional caregivers, medical alert devices, or regular family contact.
Does Family Observatory use cameras?
No. There are no cameras and no passive home surveillance. We coordinate arrangements between the people helping, and we never show anyone's calendar.
What happens if a responsibility has no owner?
The Coordinator asks whoever is most likely to be free. If nobody accepts, it asks another person after a delay you set, then tells the Care Circle before the time arrives.
Can more than one family member get updates?
Yes. Multiple family members can share one view of how your parent is doing, so no one is left guessing and no single person carries it alone.
Nothing important sitting with nobody.
