What you are paying for
Most tools for families record information. Family Observatory works out what needs to happen, notices when something has no owner, finds who can reasonably help without exposing anyone's private calendar, asks them, and follows it through to done.
The promise is not another dashboard to check. It is being able to stop holding the whole thing in your head.
Membership questions
Why one plan?
Families told us they did not want tiers and add-ons to decode. One membership covers a Care Circle, everyone who helps, and everything the Coordinator does. There is no free tier and no annual plan.
Is there a contract?
No. It is month to month, you can cancel anytime, and there is a 30-day money-back guarantee.
Why does everyone in the family not pay separately?
Because coordination only works when everyone involved is actually in it. Charging per person would guarantee that the one sibling who never joins is the one who was supposed to drive on Thursday.
Do you need access to my calendar?
Only your availability, never your calendar. The system can work out that you are busy from 1:00 to 4:00 without knowing what you are doing, who you are with, or where. We do not share your calendar. We coordinate your availability.
Is there a second tier?
There will be. A Standard membership at $350 per month adds noticing: with permission, the system observes the ordinary day for itself, so nobody has to report that everything went normally. It is not available yet, and we will not sell it until it genuinely works. What separates the two is not features, it is how much we take responsibility for.
What is not included?
Family Observatory is a coordination service. It is not medical monitoring, not emergency dispatch, and not a replacement for professional care. It does not call 911.
