This is a working draft, provided for transparency while Family Observatory is in early access. It is not the final agreement and is being completed with legal review before launch.
What the service is
Family Observatory is a family coordination service. Your parent responds to scheduled prompts, and the family members you invite can see those responses.
What the service is not
Family Observatory is not a medical device or medical service, is not a monitoring or medical-alert service, and is not an emergency service. It cannot detect a fall, a medical event, or an emergency, and it does not contact emergency services. It does not replace professional caregivers, medical care, or your own judgment. You remain responsible for your family's care and for deciding when to seek help. In an emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number.
Early access
The service is in active development. Features may change, and some described capabilities may not yet be available. We will be clear about what is and isn't live. No payment is taken until your account is active, and pricing will be confirmed with you first.
Acceptable use
Use the service only for its intended purpose and only for a family member who consents to participate. Do not submit sensitive data such as medical records, account numbers, or passwords through our forms.
No warranty of availability
We work to keep the service reliable, but we cannot guarantee that every request, reminder, or notification will be delivered on time or at all. Do not rely on Family Observatory as a person's only safeguard.
